Healthcare: Unpaid Internship

Interested in a healthcare profession with Seniors? CNA, Nursing, Recreational Therapy just to name a few? Enjoy an internship at Granville House in Oxford. Help plan activities, volunteer and interact with the Senior residents, observe care of clients when appropriate. All of these experiences will help you confirm your interest in healthcare.

Are you interested in healthcare?

You can Assist B. Kearney, Recreational Therapist at Brantwood Nursing Home in Oxford. Ms. Kearney graduated from SGHS in 2011, attended ECU and graduated with a BS in Recreational Therapy. She would enjoy an opportunity to share her experiences with a student intern as you assist her with activities 3 days a week for 2 hours mid afternoon. Your presence will increase your skills and knowledge of the many different healthcare careers AND will help confirm your desire to work in healthcare.

Blueberry Pickers: 2-4 Days/week, $11/hr.  6am-10am

Best blueberries around need picking on an Organic blueberry farm in NORTHERN Granville County. If you are hard working and interested in a Part Time $11/hr for 2-4 days a week employment opportunity outside, starting end of June through first week of August.... this may be for you. Product Recovery Management: Electrical

Product Recovery Management, a recognized leader in the manufacture of remediation equipment is looking for an employee in their UL certified Control Shop.  The candidate should be able to wire control panels based on easy to read schematics. Need to be able to use hand tools, screwdrivers, wire strippers, drill, etc.  Pay depends upon experience but the range is $13/hr +.   Day shift, full time hours.

Childcare: Possible Paid Internship

Would you be interested in being a Camp Counselor at Kid Zone in Creedmoor?

The shifts are Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm during the school year and longer hours during the summer. Interns must have organizational skills, love children, be willing to work with children ages 5-14, assist with crafts and other activities and have great communication skills.
