GCPS Digital Resources Library

Granville County Public Schools has a new program used to provide a digital resources library for staff members. Learn Platform allows teachers and staff to view in one location all the digital resources that are approved for use in the district.

Organize digital resources: GCPS identified spending and needs criteria, such as student data privacy requirements, achievement goals and school improvement plans. GCPS is working to reduce the number of unmanaged and/or non-compliant tools within district and schools and provide teachers and staff with a list of approved, safe, and sustainable resources that can effectively and efficiently used in the district.
Ask for teacher and staff input on existing resources: This program allows teachers and staff for feedback on school- or district-level purchased tools – educator input is essential to the district’s review and evaluation of its Digital Resources.
Consistent communication and training support: Learn Platform provides all educators access to a comprehensive digital resource library with approval statuses, allowing them to quickly identify approved tools.
Streamline digital resources request process: Teachers can now use the product request functionality in the platform to suggest products to be vetted for approval, notifying administrators when a request comes through. GCPS built essential elements, like data privacy requirements and interoperability, into the request process to increase efficiency and transparency
