Granville Academy

" A Blended Learning School for Grades K-12 "

Granville Academy serves students in grades K-12 with flexible schedules and blended learning models. Blended learning utilizes online, blended, and face-to face instruction. Students would attend some days on campus and work some days at home. Learning options include: Blended Learning Elementary School (Grades K-5), Blended Learning Middle School (Grades 6-8) and a Flexible High School (Grades 9-12).

Granville Central High School

"A STEAM School with PLTW Engineering"

(Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Mathematics)

Granville Central High School uses the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering curriculum. Students engage in open-ended problem-solving, learn and apply the engineering design process, and use the same industry-leading technology and software as are used in the world’s top companies. Students are immersed in design as they investigate topics such as sustainability, mechatronics, forces,  mechanisms, control systems, energy sources, and circuit design, which gives them an opportunity to learn about different engineering disciplines before beginning post-secondary education or careers. In addition to the Engineering courses, students can also take Agriculture courses in Ag Mechanics, Animal Science, Veterinary Assisting, and Horticulture. Granville Central High School’s STEAM and PLTW Engineering courses allow students to apply math and science skills while engaging in hands-on projects where students create and explore real-world problems.

Granville Early College High School

" Partnership with Vance Granville Community College"

Granville Early College High School is a partnership between Granville County Public Schools and Vance Granville Community College. It is located adjacent to the South Campus in Creedmoor. GECH focuses on students that are the first in their families to attend college. Over a five year course of study, students have the opportunity to complete their high school diploma and an Associates of Arts/Science degree to transfer to a 4-year college or university. All of this at no cost to the family. Student selection is completed through an application and lottery process. Any student in 8th grade that resides in Granville County with their parents/legal guardian is eligible to apply.

GECHS Application

J.F. Webb High School

"Project Lead the Way (PLTW), Career and Technical Education (CTE), JROTC and the Arts"

J.F. Webb offers students hands-on engaging learning experiences for practical application in elective courses such as Biomedical Science and Biomedical Innovations, Human Body Systems, Anatomy and Physiology, Principles of Business, Financial Management, Career Management, Entrepreneurship, Automotive, Agriculture Science/Mechanics, Foods and Culinary Arts, Construction and Masonry, Computer Science and Virtual Enterprise. JF Webb also enriches students’ experiences through clubs such as Art club, Drama/Theater, Debate, Photography, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), JROTC, Student Government, Interact, and Communities in Schools. Our athletic programs: Football, Volleyball, Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer, Cross County, Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball, Wrestling, Winter and Spring Track, Swimming, Softball and Baseball, Lacrosse, Golf, and Cheerleading. Webb also features a dynamic performing marching band and dance team.

South Granville High School

" An Arts and Sciences School"

South Granville High School  provides many career opportunities in design and entertainment and has therapeutic and creative benefits that allow students to be diverse learners. Science provides many career opportunities for potential future nurses, doctors, farmers, landscapers, and veterinarians. South Granville High School offers many courses in both these areas. Students of choice must follow a pathway if accepted to South Granville High School as their Choice School. In order to meet the criteria of any of the pathways, students must complete 4 credits in the chosen pathway - at least 1 advanced, honors or college level class in that specific pathway, and must be involved in an extracurricular that aligns with that pathway. The South Granville High School Arts and Sciences Pathways are: Agriculture Sciences, Sciences, Health Sciences, Instrumental Arts, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts.
