  • FRESHMEN ORIENTATION

    Okay all you rising 9th graders, it's time for orientation. We will hold our 9th grade orientation on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. We will plan on meeting in the gym and the session from 9:00 to 11:30 is for the students ONLY. Parents, you are invited to join us for the required laptop orientation session from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm. General information will also be provided that day from the team so mark your calendars and join us on August 13th.

    Are you interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)? Granville Central has a STEM Program that is available to all students of Granville County Public Schools.   • CREDIT BY DEMONSTRATED MASTERY

    CDM is a new opportunity for our students in middle school and high school to earn high school credit for courses in areas for which they already have an expertise. Please see attached and follow the link on the district's website. CDM applications are due to the principal by December 1st.

  • PSAT--OCTOBER 15, 2014

    ATTENTION JUNIORS: Taking the PSAT again is an inexpensive way to practice for the SAT. Also, Juniors scoring high enough on the PSAT are entered in the National Merit Scholarship Program. All Juniors who are taking Math II or higher will be able to take the test for free. The cost for the PSAT is $14.00, payable in cash or check made payable to GCHS. See Ms. Williams in Room 2401 by September 25th.
