  • Tar Roanoke Athletic Conference

    Tar Roanoke Athletic Conference named Otis Lyons Womens Cross Country Coach of the Year and Kathleen Burroughs Womens Runner of the Year. Kathleen set a school record at the conference championships with a time of 20.34. Great job!!!

    The Panther Sound Marching Band competed in the Festival of Bands at Fuquay-Varina High School this past Saturday, October 18th. In class 1A, they placed 2nd in Drumline, 3rd in Color Guard, 2nd in Musical Performance, 2nd in Visual Performance, 3rd in General Effect and 3rd Overall. This is the first time they have placed in any of these categories at any competition. Way to go Panther Sound!!!

  • 2014 Granville County Women's Team Champions

    Granville Central did it again, we came in first place! And not only that Kathleen Burroughs had the best time, finishing in 21.58.

  • PSAT--OCTOBER 15, 2014

    ATTENTION JUNIORS: Taking the PSAT again is an inexpensive way to practice for the SAT. Also, Juniors scoring high enough on the PSAT are entered in the National Merit Scholarship Program. All Juniors who are taking Math II or higher will be able to take the test for free. The cost for the PSAT is $14.00, payable in cash or check made payable to GCHS. See Ms. Williams in Room 2401 by September 25th.

    Meetings will begin promptly at 5:30 pm in Room 1121. Please enter the building through the front doors. Meeting Dates (1st Monday of each Month): September 8th, October 6th, November 3rd, December 1st, February 2nd, March 2nd, April 12th (2nd Monday), May 18th. Meetings will last approximately one hour and will be spent planning activities and events that will benefit GCHS stakeholders.
