The Board of Education will hold two public hearings on November 18, 2025 at the Mary Potter Center for Education, 200 Taylor Street, Oxford, NC 27565.

6:00pm-7:00pm- A public hearing on the proposed closure of C.G. Credle Elementary School.

7:00pm (or as soon as the first hearing has concluded)-8:00pm- A public hearing on the proposed closure of Wilton Elementary School.

School districts and Charter Schools in North Carolina are working with Sandy Hook Promise to offer training to school-level staff and students where secure and anonymous safety concerns can be reported to help at-risk individuals before they hurt themselves or others.
