For the 2026-2027 school year, GCPS will be implementing NEW attendance zones due to the closure of Wilton Elementary School.  It is our hope that we can accommodate ALL open enrollment (choice) requests for all elementary schools.

However, our excess capacity at each school is limited.  In the event we receive more requests for open enrollment than there is excess capacity, we will implement a weighted lottery system to prioritize awarding requests.  Those students who are initially denied a transfer will be placed on a waiting list.
