  • FAFSA DAY - FEBRUARY 28, 1015

    State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) personnel will be available at all 254 Credit Union branches on Saturday, February 28th from 9:00 a.m. until noon to help students and their parents complete and electronically submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. SECU has been partnering with the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) since 2009 to provide assistance with the FAFSA, a requirement in consideration for all federal and most state financial aid for college, including scholarships and grants.   • SUMMER CIVIC LEADERSHIP PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY FOR NINTH GRADE STUDENTS

    Granville County Government is seeking ninth grade student who reside in Granville County to participate in a public leadership internship this summer. Six student will be selected on a competitive basis to spend five weeks rotating through County departments to get "hands on" experience in local government operations.   • Math in Real Life

    Some of Mrs. Sondecker's Math students solved real life math problems as they partnered with the North Granville Recreation Advisory Council to plan and coordinate a Kids 1/2 Mile Race. Students also partnered with Stovall Shaw Elementary School to share their math experiences and invite them to participate in the race.
