  • Spring Formal Friday, May 29, 2015

If you are bringing a guest, you must turn in an outside friend form to Mrs. Lewis by Tuesday, May 26. No outside guests will be admitted unless they have prior approval. Dress code for the dance is Sunday best: no jeans or shorts. The school dress code will be enforced. Strapless dresses will be permitted with a cover-up, such as a shawl. If you have a question about your dress, please see Mrs. Bailey-Barnette, Mrs. Lewis, or Mrs. Co. Currin. As this is an 8th grade formal, there will not be a king or queen. The hours of the dance are 7 - 10 pm. Parents will be allowed bring students to the commons area for pictures beginning at 6:45. The cost of the formal is $10 for Northern Granville 8th graders. All guests brought by a current 8th grade student are $5. Eighth graders who are members of the National Junior Honors Society as of May 19 will be admitted free of charge due to their work in organizing the formal. Heavy refreshments will be served.
